Day 1: We’ll meet you with a warm welcome in Bogotá Airport then take you to dinner for orientation and make sure you get a good night’s rest at a comfortable hotel.
Day 2: Domestic flight north to Bucaramanga where we’ll meet our driver and travel on to La Mojarra climbing area. Settle in at La Roca Refugio, enjoy dinner, and take in the views of the red cliffs and surrounding valley.
Day 3-4: Send beautiful red sandstone for two full days of climbing at La Mojarra. We’ll keep you fueled with hearty meals and take you to dinner one night down in Los Santos to check out the town.
Day 5-6: After breakfast, we’ll set off for two days of fun and adventure in San Gil, a welcoming sub-tropical city in the mountains. There is loads to do, like underground cave exploring, cliff jumping, class V rafting thrills on the Río Suarez, or even — weather-permitting — paragliding over the spectacular Chicamocha Canyon.

Day 7: Drive back to stunning La Mojarra for another full day of climbing with our muscles rested and feeling strong. We’ll eat and sleep at La Roca Refugio.
Day 8: Today, you can squeeze in a morning climb before we drive back to Bucaramanga and fly to Río Negro (the main airport in Medellín). From there, we’ll head to Guatapé, home of the iconic rock tower, El Peñol. Hike up in time to catch the sunset and later enjoy a tasty dinner and then relax in a comfortable hotel.
Day 9: Before the sun heats the rock, kick start your day with an early climb of El Peñol; a variety of cracks and slabs chock full of coarse crystals await! Reward your efforts with cold beers and lunch and a relaxing afternoon activity of your choice.

Day 10-11: It’s time to take our foot off the adventure pedal just a bit so we can enjoy ourselves and get a true feel for the paisa (rural Colombian) way of life. We’ll explore and learn about Medellín with a visit to Envigado, the birthplace of Pablo Escobar. We’ll visit hip restaurants in cool neighborhoods and get a real feel for Colombian culture. Check out the bustling nightlife, do some salsa dancing, and try aguardiente, Colombia’s national spirit.
Day 12-13: Share a leisurely breakfast and commit the Medellín vibe to memory before we set off for Abejorral and two days of the best rock climbing near Medellín. You’ll stay in unique accommodation suspended from the cliffs at Casa en el Aire and we’ll cover all meals.
Day 14: Set off south towards Salento and the coffee region. Marvel at all the shades of green as we wind up, over, and through verdant lush mountains.

Day 15: uel up with a hearty breakfast and the best coffee in the country before you set off for a spectacular hike through Cocora Valley. Make sure your camera batteries are charged — the famous wax palms stretch improbably tall while gorgeous green mountain sides provide a rich backdrop for endless photos. For those who have the shutterbug and a bit of patience, try capturing a crisp image of the many colourful hummingbirds darting from flower to flower. Prize awarded for the best photo of the day!
Day 16: Pamper yourself with spa treatments and enjoy boutique lodgings after yesterday’s trek. Soak in the thermal waters of Santa Rosa de Cabal and explore the surrounding areas or indulge in a full body massage — we’ve been going hard for over two weeks, so it’s time to wind it down a bit and treat your body well.
Day 17: After tearing ourselves away from this stunning area, we’ll travel to Cali, famed for salsa as well as the other side of the Escobar drama. It’s a 4-hour drive that will see the lush green landscape change to a bustling city center. It’s your last full day in Colombia so make the most of it by playing the national game, tejo, or by salsa dancing in a club. Mingle with locals and drink it all in — we’ll help you organize your time, provide dinner, and ensure you have a send-off to remember!
Day 18: Departure day. We’ll see you off to your departure point safely so you can head home or continue on with your adventure.
